Daily interest

Since the arrival of our 2 bunnies my husband joins me daily to help feed, clean & talk to the rabbits. Much of the day he will fall asleep but is always willing to assist whatever the weather. I really feel we both now have a much happier outlook. I am now looking forward to next year spending more time in the garden.

I`ve read this before about pets giving people with dementia a revived interest. I`m so pleased it worked for you and your husband @safray. It brings back the shared activities.

My friend has a trained PAT dog and on visits to CH’s she says how much people perk up ..

I agree that furry animals can go down a treat. I love to see how my wife interacts with cats - she leaves the feeding etc., to me but certainly takes over in the cuddling department.
