I'm sat in NH at Dads bedside just watching him sleep. He's been under the weather for a few days, had doc out twice but no infections. He's on nebuliser alongside all other meds. He is so tired, he complains he's not sleeping at night, I've asked staff to do night checks and they report every time they check he is asleep. Had a few small conversations today, we've confirmed its Friday about 6 times now, then he just drops off. He's in bed which is unlike him .
Is this usual for Alz? I've bought him earplugs for noise but so far no sedatives - he's in heart failure and kidney failure too. Don't know if this is short term illness or general progression.
