Dad has passed away

On the long path of coming to terms with losing my Dad. He passed away very peacefully on the 1st August. Everything happened so quickly in the end. The week before he died we thought he was unsettled and kept fiddling with his clothes as if something wasn't right. The staff at the nursing home said it was the heat. On the Thursday he was rushed into hospital as he couldn't breathe and he improved slightly over the weekend. On the Tuesday the hospital phoned me at 7.00pm to say they didn't think he would survive the night. He died at 10.00. Myself, brother and Mum were with him and he just slipped away peacefully.
In Gods care now.
