My Mum is in a care home and tested positive for Covid19 in April and remains positive. She has been very ill recently drowsy, off her food and constantly sleeping. I spoke to one GP involved in her care who said she should be on end of life care. I could then go into the home and be with her. Unfortunately when I spoke to the GP who is in charge of her care she refused to put her on end of life. Apparently the long term prognosis for having Covid 19 at 87 years with comorbidities isnt good but her GP refuses to acknowledge that she is end of life!

Why don't you suggest that the two GPs talk to each other and ask them to explain to you how they arrived at their decision? I would certainly find it confusing to get contradictory information.
