Hi, we lost our mum to cancer last May, since then my dads memory has got worse, we are really finding things hard to understand with regards to my dads behaviour, the doctor diagnosed my dad as having the onset of dementia a month ago and we don't know how to cope. My dad lives in Wiltshire, I live in Hampshire my sister lives in Scotland and my brother also lives inHampshire.
Trying to get my dad to move, he just keeps saying there is nothing wrong with him, he forgets that my brother and I were in the same room, he phones and tells us he is lonely, I arranged to put his house on the market, it was all a go, he then phones me up and tells me to take it off the market, we want him nearer to give him a better quality of live and still have independence.
So much more to say, have not even had the time to grieve the loss of my mum.
