Hi
Not been on here for a while- so hi to those who remember me. I am looking at claiming back the care fees I paid for my husband before he died. He had Parkinson's with Lewy body dementia and was in residential care.He was assessed as not been eligible for continuing health care and I think that decision was wrong. I have to apply to my local PCT.Has anyone done this before?? Any tips or advise that might help me.
thanks

A while back, my husband was looking at information regarding this and there are solicitors who specialise in making claims for repayment of care fees. Unfortunately I can't find the link, but if you google reclaiming care fees, the details should come up.

yes I know there are companies that can make a claim but they take 25-30% of any claim and I'd rather have that! and feel I can do this myself
