Christmas can be wonderful, but it can also be a stressful and worrying time for people with dementia and their carers. There are many things to consider - decorations, visits, food and drink, choosing gifts. How can families adapt their festive traditions and routines so that people with dementia are considered?

Our next expert Q&A will be about Christmas and dementia. Emma from the Helpline team will be answering your questions in the chat room next Tuesday from 3-4pm. We hope to see you there :)

In the meantime, feel free to take a look at our top ten discussions about common worries related to Christmas, where members have shared practical advice and supported each other.

If you're not able to join us on the day, you can email your questions to talkingpoint@alzheimers.org.uk over the weekend and we'll be happy to ask them on your behalf. Please write 'Christmas Q&A' as the title of your email.
