Whilst sat having a cup of tea yesterday afternoon, myself and Michael came up with a plan to make Peter's Christmas totally special, we own an American motorhome (which we haven't used much this year) and have decided to have Christmas day in the van on the drive, a full Christmas lunch will be cooked on board, a Christmas tree and gifts will be placed around will be decorated and put in place (which we hope to get Peter to decorate, with our help) and a good friend has agreed to come along dressed as santa, I know it probably sounds crazy, but life no matter whether you have dementia or not has to be a little different at times and hopefully it will help him relive his younger days when he owned a VW campervan.
