The new Care Act 2014 is the biggest change to the care system in the last sixty years, replacing or updating around thirty pieces of existing legislation. It touches everything from how you pay for care at home and in residential care to carers rights, financial assessments, deferred payment schemes and more.

Tina, one of our Knowledge Officers will answering your questions on the Care Act 2014 on Thursday 19th 3-4pm.

So please join us in the Chat Room on Thursday (You’ll need to register and login to the forum to join the chat).

PS If you're not able to make the session, you can still ask questions by emailing us at talkingpoint@alzheimers.org.uk and we’ll also post a transcript of the session afterwards.
