Hi everyone,
I have signed up to do the British 10k in London! I'm running for Alzheimers and I'm doing ok for sponsors at the moment!
My race number is 1368, my fiance's is 1369 and my stepdad is running too. So look out for us if it's televised!
I'm feeling quite good about it because although my mum doesn't always want to see us and I'm finding it hard to feel like I'm doing enough for my mum. This gives me the chance to do something positive.
Wasn't sure if I would be able to do it because I have thyroid problems and during the training I became unwell. So I'm going to take it steadily- therefore I wont be breaking any world records but I'm determined to finish atleast.
The only problem with all of us running together is that we're going to have to leave my mum for a few hours with a friend. She knows her quite well but I'm still a little worried!
I'll let you know how I get on.
Amanda
