I think that you are right and this sums the whole situation up in one word, Love.
It seems that no matter what ever is thrown at the carer and the sufferer, it still comes down to this.
It is amazing but so very true, that nothing can come between the two people, and no matter how cruel the disease is, and lets be honest, when it comes to Dementia there is nothing that can beat it for being cruel, but there is and always will be a very strong bond which is "love".
