I wrote to the CMA with my experiences including fees increased having started care and post death 2 week charge so am pleased that they are testing a few cases within consumer law. However the what does care cost in your area tool within the article is woefully underestimating for my county even taking as an average...actual self funding costs are more than double their estimate

It will be interesting to see if there are any successful test cases. But its not just the financial cost (which is bad enough) but the stress and emotional pressure some of these practices cause.

I am surprised there hasn't been more in the media.
