My mom has been caring for my dad for about 6 months now, he jas later stages lewy body disease. She wants to care for him at home but it is getting increasingly difficult, I want to suggest some home help but don't know where to start. Im pretty sure they would be self funding so wouldn't need to go through meeds assessment?

I would recommend a needs assessment even if they are self funding as social services will have sway with care agencies etc.
