I have already asked this question on the 'upgrade' thread but received no
answer.

In the 'who posted last' column there is a sort of arrow in a circle.

Click that and you are taken to the last post on a thread. Useful when there are
many posts!

Problem! this column is not wide enough:confused: for some reason.
So I cannot use this facility as there is no sort of arrow in a circle:rolleyes:
which means I have to go to the first post (nuisance when its a long thread!)

Can anyone help please?

Look for the arrow in an oblong, which you'll find to the right of the screen.

Click on that and it takes you to the last post!

Hi Chris.

My first thought was that maybe you've got your screen set too narrow, but I've just tried that, and that doesn't seem to be it.

Just to check we're talking about the same thing - you can't see the thing I've circled at all? In any forum?

Well now, that's strange!! Now I can see the arrows for the last postee!!!

Hi and thanks Jennifer! It was the third column (which lists who posted and the time)
but still, the time of the last post is not visible:confused:

BTW it was whilst in 'new posts' its the one I always use.

But it is odd, because for 2 days the arrow symbol wasn't visible! Now its just the time of the last post - I can live with that:)

Its like booking an appointment at the dentist then when its time to go the toothache has gone!:D

Its a mystery!

OK we were talking about different things. Odd though - you should be able to see that last poster name and the time. I have had (intermittently) issues with regard to column size, which I normally resolve by shutting down my browser. Do you know which browser you use (e.g. Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox)?

Yes Jennifer odd indeed!

My browser is Windows Internet Explorer.

Don't know if it makes a difference but I use a very small netbook (about 10 x 5" screen), having said that its been ok before.

The problem seemingly fixed itself, apart from not being able to see the time of the last post.
