Thank you for writing. The day did sound to go well, and you as ever your graceful self, despite your emotions. So poignant to read what you wrote about having your dear Brian with you. So pleased your feelings of peace and calm stayed with you.
Now the new future begins.... it wont be easy, and particularly difficult today now you are alone, the house quiet and empty following the departure of your family.
I hope the weather is kind to you for your beach hut visits, swimming and running. They must help in many ways.

I'm so glad that the service proved to be all you had hoped for and that so many people paid their respects to your dear husband.
As others have said, it will be hard to be alone but I know how resilient you are and thank goodness you have the beach hut. What a refuge this has been in your times of trouble. I also hope that the weather is kind to you during the following months as I know how you love to be outdoors.
