Bowel Obstruction

Hi there
Relative been in hospital week now. Severe bloating and abdominal pain later to be diagnosed with twisted colon. On three occasions they have been in with scope and blown air in to unblock. Swells back within hours despite being NBM. Getting desperate, no action being taken and consultant gone quiet. They are in pain and seems to have progressed massively since admission. Any advice / experience appreciated

I`m sorry I have no experience of this @Glass but just want to welcome you to the forum and hope someone will be able to offer a shared experience.

I can only suggest you try to attend when the consultants are on their rounds and ask questions and also ask for pain relief.
