Hi Libs, dont't know about 'Dummy Guides', just my own thoughts on the idea.
Think Shirley Valentine and her 'wall'.
A space to write down experiences, thoughts - a diary of sorts.
Just for you. Other individuals may comment as they see fit.
IMHO certainly not a place to ask for advice, as not everyone reads them - I never do.
And anything written there is viewable by anyone on the www.
I guess it's horses for courses as they say.

The normal post is divided in to different forums, you choose the one applicable and post on your own newly started thread. People will answer your post with info and support. Just like you did when you started this thread.
Connie has already explained what blogging is, but remember it is not a private diary, nor can you necessarily expect to get any answers. That will definitely not happen when you post on a thread.

Thanks Connie & Win - I've just been watching Click on BBC and they were explaining blogging on there - so I feel a little bit more clued up now.
