Number 2, don't say "I just told you that" is something I do say too often. After caring for someone with dementia we should all be so patient in every other situation.

that you are having a dementia moment when they forget. my neighbour has said it and its hurtful. do i have to keep repeating myself is one ive used more than i should.

I found it a learning curve and I want to say never utter the word 'Alzheimers' in front of a PWD. Also when leaving a care home or day centre never say goodbye but try to disappear when they are occupied.
