Many thanks for the birthday wishes! I am travelling from Canada to the UK in 2 weeks to visit my mother who has alzheimers. I go every 3 months for a month and I know it does her good because we giggle and she sometimes remembers my name and it does me good to be able to sit and cuddle her. No other mother could have been as wonderful and the staff in her Nursing Home all say she is the sweetest lady and so gracious. This will be the 7th year since Mum,s alzheimers was diagnosed and on march 2nd she will be 88 yrs of age. She was always there for me....the least I can do is be there as much as possible for her now. My birthday ...thanks to Mum!
