Birthday lunch

Mum has agreed to come out for lunch tomorrow for my birthday. It will be her first time out of the door since she went into the care home at the beginning of January. I am now getting really nervous, not sure why as we are not going very far. Hope its not too traumatic ....

Thanks. I know worrying is a waste of time but I can't help it. I suppose the worst that can happen is that we will have to take her back if she wont sit at the table and thats not the end of the world is it!!

Thanks for all your birthday wishes. It was a success. Mum was well behaved and ate all her dinner and had a couple of glasses of wine which she thoroughly enjoyed. I am so pleased that she ventured out into the big bad world as she hasnt wanted to come out at all. That was the best birthday present ever!
