My mum who is 56yrs old was diagnosed with Bi-Parietal Atrophy 3 1/2 yrs ago. As it is a very rare type of alzheimers (1 in a million) we as a family are very frusrated as no-one seems to know anything about this illness. We feel that we are banging our heads against a brick wall everytime we have meetings to discuss mum all the answers we get are that this is new to us and we dont know what to expect next. We have been told that she is in end stage dementia but as the specialists dont know the illness how can they say? Please if there is anyone who has heard of this please can you contact me. Thanx.
