Well, the question i was asked just now on LIVE BBC radio Devon was "Why are diagnosis rates below average in North and East Devon?
My answer
" The blame lies firmly at the feet of the local GP`s "

I will explain, cards on the table, it all begins with them, if they dont refer patients to memory clinics, CPN`s (Community Psychiatric Nurses) and Social workers, then NOTHING HAPPENS!!

I do expect some fall out from this, but i will always say it as i see fit , do they hesitate when they think someone has cancer ??
Do they hesitate when they think someone has heart problems ??
You know the answer to this, so why hesitate when they are faced with dementia symptoms ??

Thoughts please ??

Now waiting for the BBC TV to come and film at 9.30am, will be shown tonight at 6.30 BBC spotlight, Devon

I think that shortly after broadcast - no need for TV licence - you should be able to watch it >>>HERE<<<
