I've got the photos as prints. I do have a scanner and somebody to help me use it. Is that any help? I need instructions from that point, which I hope to find on the site shortly.

I'm not so far away re scanning. One of the books I wrote was on the subject of scanning in the days when they cost £4,000 for the hardware. I'm on my sixth scanner at home now and couldn't do without it.

Dear Norman,
What a consolation for all those of us who realise that Bali may never quite fit into our itinerary .... As long as we can still manage to find a sunset once in a while, wherever that may be!
