Well i have come back to the forum to ask a few questions, my mil is wanting to put my husband in a home now, which of course we knew was going to come quick. She cant cope with him anymore as he is falling a lot of hes bigger than her so hard for her to get him up etc, along with him peeing on the floor a fair bit. Anyway she needs to find out what will she be able to get help wise?
If he goes into a home how much of his money will they take to pay for it, is it a standard amount regardless of the home cost?
She also now has to do a lpa which is going to cost her too, is it too late to do this now or not?
Is there a level of income that you have to be under to get any help money wise for paying for the care home?
