I'm just double checking as it is dangerous to assume.
1. Does attendance allowance always continue to be paid if the person recieving it goes into full time care (when fully self-funded in England).
2. Do most people in care (full self-funded) recieve the higher rate of attendance (approx £64 per week).
I'm having to notify the social services retrospectively about dad moving into full time care and want to feel confident they are not going to ask for the attendance allowance back. I hate unexpected bills!
thanks
Craig
