I didn't know about this. I'm aghast. Both parents receive the higher rate of AA and we wouldn't be able to get out and about nearly so much if this is taken away.

I've posted on Facebook and am going to email my local MP tomorrow. Outrageous.

It says it won't change any current holders , it's to be from 2018 for new .

Like anything they keep changing things. Mil having just lost Fil is now in receipt widows pension but this changes in April.

Which is bad enough in itself. And who knows what goalposts they will move if they manage to get it passed... I wouldn't trust Mr C not to abolish it altogether for everyone once it's been in place for a year or so.
