Attendance Allowance and care at home

Hi. My elderly relative receives AA at the higher rate but he now has carers coming in 4 times daily as he is unable to manage on his own anymore. Will this affect his AA and does he have to inform the benefits agency?

Simple answers -no and no.

Not at all. Only if he moved to a care home permanently and wasn't self-funding.
