Assigned CPN ~ ?

Hi, I was wondering if any carers on DTP have an been offered or have an assigned CPN? Are they there to assist carer look after a PWD and if so in what way? Or are they assigned to the PWD and what help can be expected of them?

They are assigned to the PWD, they can talk through problems with the PWD and carer, give advice and support , prescribe certain medication and discuss its effects.
They are also a named contact for any crisis.
