Hi all
My mum has early-onset Alzheimer's, and I was thinking about getting her a tablet.
She likes to read (although I don't know if she's really still capable of actually reading a book anymore, because of her memory), do crosswords and jigsaws and other puzzles and things. She also loves music.
She's never been one for computers or gadgets, so I don't know how well she'd do with a tablet.
Does anyone have any experience of the Amazon Fire tablets? I had thought about trying one of those, rather than diving straight in with an iPad.
Can you get useful apps for dementia sufferers for them, or is everything iOS only?
