Anyone in York caring for their partner with dementia??

Just wondering if there is anyone else in my local area or nearby caring for their partner with dementia? My partner is only 59 and I’m 49 and she is in late stages now which is extremely challenging. I still care for her at home full time with help so I’m just putting feelers out for other carers in my area maybe for mutual support?? So isolated and lonely lately

I`m sorry you both have to deal with this at such a young age. It must be devastating for you. I hope you`ll find some support here on the forum.

The Alzheimer`s Society does have contact groups in Local areas. If you search your area, something may come up which will suit you.
