Anyone been able to visit pwd in hospital?

Hi yes my mum went in from a care home this month having been in overnight the month before where I didn’t realise no on from the home attended with her. I spent two hours the next morning and over ten failed attempts to speak to someone at the hospital before the home rang me and said she had returned. When she went in this month I was on it straight away and did manage to get through after some kind effort. Then policy changed an I could actually visit by appointment once a day.
