An odd thing to do

It's not important like many of the posts here, but I'd love to know if anyone else has this with their PWD.
Every time my husband hears this word "early" on the tv, often used at the beginning of programs when being announced, he repeats it in a strange voice. Every time he hears it, over and over again. If someone says it and I don't hear him repeat it, it means he's asleep. The voice he uses isn't his normal voice, it's put on. This has been going on for weeks and weeks, just this one word. I'd just be interested if anyone else notices anything like it.

That is quite interesting. My mother didn't do anything like that but later in her disease she would repeat "da da da da" over and over and over again. The specialist nurse said it was self-stimulation. Perhaps that's similar to what your husband is doing.
