"Grief can be frozen and life put on hold. If you don’t allow yourself to grieve or resume some of your regular activities, coping will be harder as the disease progresses."


This quote in the article jumped out at me because i think I have tried too hard to make a life round dementia and it has taken over me all too often. Now John has three days at daycare there is a part of the week when I can indeed resume some normality. I realise that putting life on hold and waiting for something better to turn up is probably what a lot of us do. Tragically the something better doesn't always materialise
