Am considering live-in care for my wife.

I am finding it very difficult to get my wife out of the house at all so am considering having a live-in carer.
Perhaps to begin with one week in every four so that I can get out.
I wondered what other peoples experiences are.
It would be very odd having a stranger come to stay but could be a lot easier then trying to get my wife to and settled in a care home.
I would perhaps also feel a bit less guilty if she were to remain at home.

You do what`s right for you and for your wife @PPP.

If you think it will be easier to have someone live in than have your wife in residential respite, you can only try.
