Alzheimer’s Society is again taking part in major Pride events this summer and would like to invite our Talking Point members to join us in the parades as we walk to raise awareness of dementia among the LGBT+ community.
This year we are taking part in the following events:
Birmingham Pride on Saturday May 28
London Pride on Saturday 25 June
Brighton Pride on Saturday 6 August
Manchester Pride on Saturday 27 August.
We'd love your help!
Our Roadshow vehicle will drive the parade route joined by a walking group of employees, volunteers and people affected by dementia. We’re hoping to make a massive impact this year and would love anyone to join us.
NB Please be aware though that these are loud, busy events and not suitable to all, and require a lot of walking to cover the parade routes.
