Hi
@DesperateofDevon you'll never believe what the USA idiot has done today. MIL - specialist appointment 12.30. Hubby arrives 12.20 at hospital to see SIL in cafe que. He thinks they're just getting a coffee to take to the appointment. No she's only gone and ordered lunch for herself and MIL. Hubby had to go to the clinic sans SIL and MIL to let staff know she was in the hospital. SIL sauntered in 25 minutes past the appointment time (for the last am appointment). Nursing staff all gone to lunch and specialist seriously unhappy. Her only reply to hubby was that 'well clinics always run late'. She has no comprehension that if this was not a cancer appointment the consultant would have classed this as a missed appointment and the hospital policy is to discharge after a non attendance.
Hubby has now retired to help me care for his mum and my parents, his comment today " I had no idea before I retired how disruptive my sisters visits are" . It seems like the whole side of his family need to experience things to believe it grrrr
