Alan's been to see the prescribing nurse and she says his chest is all clear and that he has a virus that's going round. She says hopefully it will all be cleared up by next Thursday! I'm going to keep him on the honey anyway because it seems really good stuff.

I've just found out that my daughter used it to make a face mask which nourishes her skin and she swears by it! I never knew that.

Love Helen

Hello Helen

What a relief! :)

If Alan has no chest infection we`ll all be keeping our fingers crossed for next Thursday.

Love xx

Good news Helen

Inhaling steam is good generally for coughs & wheezes (sp?) and hayfever.

Shame the present temperatures aren't too conducive for hot baths/showers!

Thanks everyone

I will get that face mask recipe. I know she said you can apply neat honey to face and leave on for 30 minutes. She also said there is something else that can be included but I didn't ask what it was - I will ask. She has a lovely complexion - wonder if that is why:) She said it nourishes the skin and has antibacterial properties which can help clear up any blemishes.

I wouldn't sit outside though with this face mask cos I can imagine waking up with a face covered in wasps and bugs:D:eek:
