Alcohol and Aricept

This morning my husband has realised himself the effect alcohol is having whilst taking Aricept and has said he will give up alcohol. Really good news while he remembers what he has said -

Hello verityruth My husband is taking Aricept, l asked his Dr if he would be ablle to have a glass of red
wine as he has always enjoyed it, she said one small glass would be good for him, he always has two small glasses per day. I find that it relaxes him, how does it affect your husband?
