SINCE VERY RECENTLY IT IS ILLEGAL TO HAVE ANY AGE AS AN EXCUSE FOR REFUSING ANYTHING,SERVICES,CARE HOMES,JOBS,ADMISSION TO ANYTHING..
WE HAD SIMLAR PROBLEMS GETTING MY WIFE ASSESSED AT THE ONLY IN ONLY ALZHEIMERS N.H.S. HOPITAL IN OUR AREA,BUT AS SOON AS WE GOT OUR LOCAL MSP(KAREN WHITEFIELD) TO ACT FOR US MY WIFE WAS ADMITTED WITHIN A WEEK,AND THEY DENIED THAT AGE WAS THERE EXCUSE,BUT AGE WAS THE REASON THAT WE WERE TOLD ORIGINALLY WAS THE PROBLEM..

AS FROM A FEW MONTHS AGO AGE DISCRIMINATION IS NOW ILLEGAL IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM,AND INCURRS VERY HEAVY FINES or CUSTODIAL SENTENCES FOR APPLYING IT TO ANYTHING.. AND EVERYTHING..HOPE THIS HELPS ALL.. Tommy
