My Mum has vascular dementia (it is like switching on a light and sometimes she seems ok and other times it is like talking to a stranger) - how can we stop her from opening new accounts?
With a bank where she has an existing account you could ask them not to allow her to open another, this may mean they lock her existing accounts, does anybody have LPA?
With different banks you could try and restrict her access to proofs of ID.
