I am still able to see all my cognitive deficits and often laugh or smirk at least. However it’s now causing panic too. What should I be doing?

Hi @April2020 and welcome to the forum.

I’m sorry you are feeling so worried. Have you talked to your GP about this? think it would be good for you to call your GP and talk over your concerns.

I’m glad you’ve found the forum and I know that you will get lots of help and support here.

Hi @April2020
When my mum was first diagnosed I researched local support groups and found a dementia charity. They offer all sorts of support from counselling, one to one, cafes and groups.
Perhaps if you searched dementia support for your area you may find similar. I’d also contact your GP as Izzy suggests as they may be able to help or refer you to someone who can.
The Alzheimers Society don’t offer any local support so I can’t comment on their services.
Good luck and take care x
