This is not directly connected with dementia, apart from the fact that had my husband not been in a Nursing Home he would have just been in the attic, replacing a ballcock on a header tank. But he is in his own personal hell, where on Sunday he bit a carer who was helping him have a bath. The individual had to go to casualty and be given 'vaccine' apparently, although I doubt that Guy is rabid, even if he does not like being washed.
At home, I had a dripping overflow. In years gone by he would have fixed it. I was reluctant to call in a handiman at huge expense, so have done it myself. Boy am I feeling smug, but it does drive home just what one is missing.

Great insight Rosalind to one aspect of dealing with Alzheimer's! We become out of necessity "super women", go that extra mile in learning, adjusting and enforcing new skills!
Well done!
