A sense of relief for me!

I will be redoing dad’s TEP at the request of dad’s doctors.
I had a phone call from his carers today. They told me that they have reinstated all of dads 4 calls from Monday 31st. I cannot believe the relief it has brought me. No more caring.?Just going back to being dad’s daughter!
I have just bought a 2nd hand car using dad’s money. It will enable me to do his shopping etc. I used to have to use public transport but no more. At least I can go home at a reasonable time . Or stay at mum’s if I want to!

If they want you to redo the TEP then that surely brings into question their opinion of your dads capacity to have made those decisions in the first place!!
I can imagine the relief you feel being relieved of responsibility for your dads care & hope the care agency can manage his increased needs.
I hope things will get a bit easier for you now you have a car to get about in. It's not before time!
