I am very much enjoying your travelogue, Sylvia. I was particularly struck by the sculpture which looked very much like First Nations art to me - the two-headed brightly coloured one.

Yes, I see what you mean about that one...I like First Nations art too...and the modern take on it...like Sue Colman.

How about Canada next Sylvia?:)

I'm using a tablet and thanks to Izzy's suggestion, using the app to post the photos. No more too big, no more upside down, no more hoping nitram would sort them for me. :)

Today we went to the castle which is high on a hill and dominates the skyline of Bratislava.

I'm so glad you are having a lovely time. You really needed this break,x

I've just heard Helens suffering is over. She died peacefully last night and Mandy was with her.

Rest in peace Helen. Xx

I'm at the airport waiting to come home .

Morning Sylvia

I hope you are ok this morning and wish you a safe flight home.

Thoughts are with Helens family today, Helen and you Sylvia.

She has found the peace we all wished for her. But it's so very sad ........

A hard day for TP.

Xx

Good morning Pollyanna. It's a sad day indeed.

The doctor said she would be surprised if Helen was still with us when I returned from Bratislava. . How right she was.

I'm relieved for Helen. She had to endure so much.

How very sad Sylvia but I'm glad Helen has found her much deserved peace. She was an amazing lady and you were an amazing friend to her.

Thinking of Martin, Mandy, Linda and all of Helen's family.

Rest in Peace Helen.

I hope you have a safe journey back home Sylvia.

Sylvia, that is very sad news but I'm relieved that Helen has found peace at last.

Thinking of Mandy and Martin and sending them my condolences. I'm also thinking of you Sylvia, to lose such a dear friend is very painful and sad.

Travel safely.

Love,

So sad to hear of Helen's passing. I know it was expected and she did want her suffering to be over but it is still sad. Sad for you and for her family and her many friends. Rest in peace Helen.

I am sad to know a wonderful positive lady has passed but so glad Helens suffering (and that of the family and friends) is over.

I'm sure she will soon be sorting them out 'up there' :D :D

Safe flight home Sylvia. Hugs to you

Kim xx
