My husband has had his first vaccination and we are now having difficulty with the wait for the second one. He keeps complaining that he has been forgotten (I show the message from his GP saying he hasn’t) and then he says it’s not worth having anyway because it will make him ill - that’s what is says in the news! We go round in circles every day. I can’t stop him reading the newspapers or watching the news (although I do try to limit it to once a day) but has anyone any suggestions on how to deal with this - I do try to change the subject but he keeps coming back to it.

Hello and welcome @32Sydney

I have to say that distraction is all that I know to use for this. It is a very annoying behaviour but I find that my wife will just fixate on things like that until it's forgotten.
