You still are a master baker...I made your filo mince pie recipe, I've always used shop bought mincemeat before, tried your recipe... the grated apple made them delicious and moist and the stem ginger!...even my ma-in-law was impressed.
Like crispy little, magical Xmas dumplings, they looked and tasted gorgeous, so much nicer than your run of the mill mince pies.
Thank you for making my ma-in-law think I'm worthy of her son.
