Somerset care home for early onset dementia

Hello, my dad has early onset dementia which is advanced. We are looking for a progressive care in the Somerset area which has a younger population, active, therapeutic ..... my mum has looked at quite a few but they all seem to have a lot of elderly residents and lots of TV watching going on. Any suggestions would be much appreciated
    Thanks!

    Hi and welcome to TP.

I'm not in a position to answer your specific question but didn't want to 'read and run'!

Not much help but when my dad was sectioned they wanted to put him in a younger/livelier home as they thought he was young! 77..........

These were in the Taunton/Yeovil area, the person that told me this was from the local memory clinic in Wells........The occupational Health therapist told me this.

I have viewed a few homes in my area, and to be honest they are full of older residents.

Never viewed the ones in Taunton/Yeovil areas though.
    Regards
    Angie
