Thank you all for your touching messages,I really appreciate it.
I will be leaving TP,but would like to thank everyone who has given me help, support & brilliant advice over the last 2 years that I've been involved with the site.
My dad has sadly passed away @ 0330 this morning, his struggle with Alzhiemers is finally over. He was in hospital for the last 3 weeks of his life & having to watch him deteriorate on a daily basis has broken my heart. Not being to able to eat or drink anything & the weight he lost was shocking...
A&E without a doubt, how dare they discriminate on the grounds of ageism
This was one of the reasons why I left the NHS/A&E, ageism was & is rife I'm sorry to say & it's ££££ that's @ the root of it all

I'm ringing the dept that deals with Carers Allowance again tomorrow, because you are right Nebiroth,it should be stopped when dad's AA is stopped & not straight away as I was told today.

Don't need this added stress,my dad is dying.
Thank you for your input Nebiroth x

That would be just too easy for them wouldn't it ! lol
Thank you nita & jeany123
I feel a fun time coming up tomorrow...NOT ! It's no wonder people put off letting them know is it,not from a fraudulent perspective, but because they make it so b****y difficult to tell them !
I posted on another thread last night that my dad is seriously ill in hospital & I'm wondering about the benefits he gets.
He gets AA,his state pension & him & mum get £15/week Pension Credit, that's one payment for them both. The last thing I want on top of all the worry,is to...
