    1. i guess she told the sw, she didnt want to stay in residential care...and 2 she has the capacity to say she dosnt want to stay..but not the capacity to cook, clean, bath, or live safely at home, without me monitoring / aiding her...3 she could fund her own care, but they cant make her stay in...

    mum, went into residential care home on monday, after ive looked after her for 6 years, the sw came as an emergancy call out on monday, and within 2 hours, found mum placement...now my question is...who funds this? does she? as noone has talked finances as yet..i must say..what a rollarcoaster...

    how interesting that so many others seem to have problem with getting their loved ones to bathe, i have thias same problem, mum will not bathe, and even the mention , is to set her off ! funy as she was such a clean lady, still has an interest in mix and match clothing, lol ( over a dirty body )...

    i think you can delete channels, your mum dosnt want, making it easier for her to acces, those she does want to view.....i had a similar problem, also to get text up easily ( subtitles ) maybe also, you could consider marking the buttons, and maybe making a diagram, for her..i found that worked...
