Feeling horrible!

Lady A, I grew up just outside Fishguard in Wales. Due to the boats going to Ireland, there were as many assorted Irish accents there as were Welsh ones!
South Pembrokeshire has its own accent too, different from my part in the north.
I love different accents and regional variations of words etc. I think it is shame that so many are being lost today.

I worked in newspapers for years which was a real problem as I say adver -TIS- ment
not advertisement as it should be said. I have a complete brain block with it.

When I was pregnant with our first child my Mother said she would buy me a car. I was ecstatic until my brother said she means a pram. Very happy with the pram but for a short while I thought the four wheeled vehicle would have had an engine.
